In lots of organisations learning and development can be pretty limited unless you’re on a formal training scheme. Not at Wolseley UK! It’s one of our stated values that we recognise the importance of a diverse workforce and encourage all our employees to grow and develop.
So, it doesn’t matter if you’re fresh out of school, looking for a new challenge or nearing retirement, we’ll ensure that you’re always learning something new. There’s a mix of formal and on-the-job training. This can include anything from gaining your fork-lift licence, Health and Safety certification, to the Management Development Programme. You can expect your new colleagues to pass on plenty of their own experience too. Details of all our training courses are made available to all our employees on the Wolseley company intranet.
