
I started my career with Wolseley at the age of 16 as an apprentice in a local branch and since joining the Company I have occupied a number of roles including Trade Counter Assistant, Supervisor, Branch Manager and Sales Manager, working at various locations.
My current role as a Plumb & Parts Area Trading Manager involves working in conjunction with the Regional Trading Director, managing a number of branches within a designated area.
The pace at Wolseley is fast moving and challenging however the right mix of management support, training and team camaraderie make Wolseley an exciting environment to work in. With dedication and effort the opportunities open to you are endless.

I started with what is now BCG in 1996 as part of a small Contact Centre consisting of five people. Over the years I have seen the operation grow to more than 30 people, and the company has gone through many changes to become a leading distributor of kitchens, bathrooms and heating.
I started as a Contact Centre Operative and was promoted to Supervisor, a position which I have held for the last six years. I enjoy my job and the variety that goes with it and each day is different, as you never know who will be on the end of the phone. It is great to work as part of a team and receive good support from my colleagues and Manager, which enables me to carry out my role to the best of my ability.
