Phil O'Reilly – Branch Supervisor – Drain Center, Digbeth
"I joined Wolseley as a Driver 12 years, and have was promoted to Branch Supervisor 9 years ago. It's a really rewarding job and much better hours than I was working at my last place. Different Supervisors have different responsibilities but I'm in charge of the Warehouse. Being a supervisor, it is important to communicate the team's set objectives and any targets in place such as monthly sales targets."

"I joined Wolseley as a Sales Assistant 5 years ago and I have now been a Supervisor for 3 years. Being responsible for money and cashing up would worry some people, but I like the fact that people trust me to do a good job. It's also down to me to make sure that my staff meet their performance targets and that customers are getting a great service. I like the hands-on approach to my job and love working as a team."

"I started at Pipe center a year ago, me and the lads are the people that make the business tick. We get to control the stock that comes in and out of the warehouse and help customers find what they're looking for. It helps if you know a bit about the trade – but there are always people around to offer help and support.
