Our colleagues in Ripon recently presented a cheque for £842 to Ripon Walled Garden – a community project which enables disadvantaged people in the area to enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle.
Victoria Ashley, the garden’s interim chief executive said: “On behalf of the staff, members and volunteers at Ripon Walled Garden, I would like to say a big thank you to Wolseley UK for their donation.”
Michelle Henstock, our payroll and benefits manager, said: “Each year we support two local charities by donating the proceeds from all our in-house fundraising activities – the rest of the proceeds have gone to Speak with IT. This year we’ll be donating to Dementia Forward and Ripon Community Link.”
