Our Plumbing & Heating and Managed Services brands have been added to the Efficiency East Midlands (EEM) social housing materials framework, giving us access to over 220 potential new customers across the UK for at least the next four years.

Our acceptance into the social housing framework has been around three months in the making, with key involvements from Mark Jevon and Doug Francis in our Bid & Tender team, supported by National Accounts Estimator, Pardip Kandola, Key Account Manager, Luke Evans, National Key Account Director, Dave Woodward, and National Sales Manager, Jonathan Hepworth.

Jonathan explains: “We were part of a previous EEM framework which has now expired, and so it was important for us to get on board with this newer one as we know it’s really is worthwhile.

“Currently, 226 public organisations procure work exclusively through this framework, including local councils, schools and housing associations, opening up lots of potential new business for us that we wouldn’t have access to otherwise.

“What’s more, with both our Plumbing & Heating and Managed Services brands on board, we can offer those customers a complete package. For example, if a council wants to do business with us, we can offer not just the products, but a complete, bespoke service.”

To gain acceptance, the business needed to demonstrate that we could meet certain standards when it comes to product availability, product quality, as well as being socially and environmentally responsible.

Jonathan added: “Like all frameworks similar to this one, EEM essentially acts as go-between to ensure public sector organisations are confident that they are sourcing their contracting from reputable, reliable and ethical businesses, without them having to vet these companies themselves.”

A huge congratulations and well done to everyone involved in getting this one over the line!
